New Windshield - Interference

My windshield has cracked twice in the past 6 months so last week they came out to do the swap. Afterwards, I’m noticing I’m no longer getting front facing hits on my R7, only side and rear. Checked the receipt, and it turns out they installed a solar coated windshield. Looks like that could be interfering with my R7
