Hi, I am new here and want advice as to which USED radar detector I should buy

Hi, I am from the subbarbs of Chicago, IL and I want a radar detector for my car. I am not a reckless driver nor do i plan to once i get a detector, i just want on for the day to day 10 over speed limit situation i find myself in. I am deciding between a uniden R3 ($120 on a used site, legit) R7 ($230, on site legit). I know the r7 is better on paper, i can afford both, i dont NEED arrows, what should I do.
