In some of the VinWiki videos you can see guys with a cord attached to their image stabilized binos. I can't seem to identify such an accessory but I don't know what else it could be. If somebody has a link, please share? I'm looking at a refurbed pair of Canon for myself.

I've also noticed in Apex, Alex Roy has this insane bulbous looking thing on his binos. Anybody know what this is or what it's doing ?
