V1G2 12v w/ USB outlet?

I have the OEM 12v plug, but there is no USB outlet on it, like the Uniden and Escort. I did not see one offered on their site either.

I know crossing makes of 12v adapters with RD's can cause odd things to happen at times - is there one known to work without an issue with the G2?

Just looking for a temp solution until I receive some special order parts for my new vehicle to make it all work as I want.
