Hi all,

Just picked up a Uniden R4 today on sale and am excited to test it out.

In regards to mounting, how imperitive is placing it high on the windshield as apposed to near the dash? I've always heard that the higher the better, but in my instance, its somewhat in my way when it is mounted high. I don't have a powered rearview so can't wire tap.

Also, is gatso used in Alberta, Canada? Does it hurt to just leave it enabled? I know mrcd is, so I have that on.
