I am new to the forum and also new to radar detectors. I have gotten 2 speeding tickets already this year. Hence, decided to invested in a Radar Detector to see if that will help minimize my chance of getting a ticket. The R8 seemed to be the most recommended one so I ended up purchasing a refurbished one from Visions Electronics. I am looking for the most up-to-date settings for the R8 (preferable a bin file) which is more geared at Northern Canada (specifically Alberta).
