Laser Domes

Howdy all, after researching how laser/lidar works I stumbled across a concept that almost seems stupid enough to work: A 2" diameter FROSTED acrylic dome mounted on the front of a vehicle. Here is how it would work in theory:

1. Light Diffusion: The frosted surface of the dome diffuses incoming LIDAR light, spreading the beam in various directions rather than reflecting it directly back. This prevents the LIDAR gun from receiving a clear, focused return signal.
