R4 and R8 no laser jammer compatibility

I sent an email to Uniden to let them know about how displeased I was about the R4 and R8 not going to be compatible with their laser jammer. I told them that I have both detectors and they were purchased for several reasons but one main reason was based on the compatible laser jammer whenever Uniden released it. I felt this was just a way to sell more detectors by having to have a R4W or R8W for that option. I had just purchased my R8 not that long ago. Their response was an apology but...
