I’ve just bought an Uniden R8 and it doesn’t function as I expected it

Hi, I’m new to radar detection world and just bought an R8 too. It doesn’t detect fixed radars or police guns and Uniden support is useless.

Mine is updated with version 128.106.116 on the installer software.

What’s this new 1.35 version? Is it on the software that automatically downloads it or should I download it manually?

I’m not knowledgeable about this, so I thank for your patience.
I really need help =)
