Hello from WNY!!

Hi everyone. A new user here. I'm from WNY and just got into the game of radar detectors. I purchased a Uniden R7 and just wanting to learn about it and how to effectively use it. I commute everyday to school and the enforcement around here can get quite picky so just trying to stay off the naughty list!
