Pretty basic question, but if I'm cleaning my detectors antenna, is there anything that should be avoided? I know if you clean glasses rubbing alcohol is very bad for it because it strips off the protective layering over the glass. Not sure if it works the same with other translucent materials such as the front part of a radar detector (forgot what it is/called). I don't want the front part of my R7 to end up getting a ton of scratches, peeling off or fogging up because I used to wrong...
