New RD/Uniden R8 MD

Just purchased a Uniden R8, overwhelmed since this is my first RD and already have information overload.

Everyone I know who runs a RD recommends getting a R8 so here I am

Would like some settings recommendations from anyone in MD in MOCO, PG and HOCO counties.

Already dove deep in some of the info in this forum learning as I go, cheers to all
