R4 issues - Kept on looping, looping, and looping

Hey ya all, so I just recently bought an R4 and updated it to the latest software. Quickly found out 2 issues - 1) Kept on freezing during self test startup. Fixed it by disabling the self test - now I don't know if all the bands are working? and 2) During operation, it randomly loops through the menus such as expert, dim, dimmer, and all over again. Even if I unplug and plug it again, it's now stuck in this loop. Only way to fix this is to reflash the software again. But then it keeps on...
